Major work is completed at hall

Major roof repairs have been completed at Temperance Hall in Epworth for the first time in its 145 year history.

Roof maintenance and roof guttering was recently finished at the Hall, a former base for the Epworth Bells, and is believed to be the first major works since it was built in 1868.

Harold Woolgar, who runs an insurance firm in the High Street building, said he was “delighted” with the work.
