A NEW shop selling farmfoods opened this week at Wathwood Hospital.
The store will sell fresh fruit, vegetables, plants and flowers, plus hand-crafted gifts and jams, pickles and chutneys.
Most of the goods will be grown and produced at the hospital, which treats patients with mental health difficulties.
The shop will be open to the public on Saturdays and Sundays between 9am and 3pm, and for staff only on Mondays and Fridays.
Steve Ball, General Manager of the Hospital said: “The shop offers a great opportunity for patients to interact with the public in a work environment.”
