A motorcyclist was taken to hospital after a collision which closed a major Doncaster road yesterday morning.
Police were called to the A19 Doncaster Road at the junction with Askern Road south of Askern at around 11.45am yesterday morning.
A South Yorkshire Police spokesman said: “It was reported that a car had collided with a motorbike.
“The motorcyclist was taken to Doncaster Royal Infirmary with minor injuries.
"The road was blocked for a short time, while the vehicles were recovered.”
