A series of events in Misterton in the run up to Chrismas raised over £700 for good causes.
All Saints’ Church held a Christmas bingo, which brought in over £250 towards the upkeep of the church.
A Christmas £1 sale in the parish church raised £350.
Musicians and singers turned out for the annual Winter Wassail, followed by the village carol service.
The Wassail raised approaching £60 for the parish church and the collection at the carol service of almost £75 will go to help Syrian refugees.
A spokesman said: “Many thanks to all those who organised these events – and to those who supported them.”
