South Yorkshire will have the opportunity to see the latest properties from award-winning house builder, Lovell, this weekend when a new show complex opens in Mexborough on Good Friday, April 6.

Specialising in high specification homes and contemporary designs, Lovell’s new Potters Walk development, on Kirby Street, will offer a selection of high quality two and three-bedroom houses within the heart of the town.

As Mexborough’s first development from Lovell, the two-bedroom and three-bedroom show homes are expected to be a big draw for eager house hunters looking for newly built properties that benefit from the best in terms of location and contemporary comforts.

Colette Armstrong, Regional Sales Manager, says: “As Lovell’s first development in Mexborough, we’re looking forward to unveiling the new homes here, which are our most up-to-date designs yet and include a selection of two and three-bedroom properties.

“The Hallington-style and Harloch-style show homes have been selected to showcase the best Mexborough now offers in terms of modern living and has been appointed to reflect contemporary tastes, as well as featuring photovoltaic solar panels and uPVC double glazed windows.

“As Lovell’s newest house styles, these homes have been designed to maximise space and comfort.

“The show homes demonstrate the versatility of the layouts, so purchasers can feel how life could be in a new Lovell home.

“Lovell is proud to be bringing its high standards of house building to Mexborough and adding those finishing touches that really make a house a home, including up-to-date kitchens with stainless steel appliances and stylish bathrooms.”

Potters Walk is comprised of 36 new homes, available in a range of house styles, and sits between and existing community and parkland.

Colette adds: “Potters Walk offers a range of homes that are suitable for a variety of property hunters, from first-time buyers to those looking for their first family home, so I would encourage anyone looking for a new home in the Mexborough area to take a look at what we’ve to offer.

“As the development sits on the doorstep of the local primary school, Potters Walk is conveniently situated for those wanting to leave the car at home, while the heart of the market town and its shops are just a short walk away.

“The local rail and road links make Mexborough a great choice for commuters, with Doncaster, Barnsley, Rotherham and Sheffield all within easy reach.”

Lovell has just been crowned a five-star house builder for the sixth year running, following the latest results from the Home Builders Federation’s annual National New Home Customer Satisfaction Survey.

The house builder achieved a top rating, with 90% of those surveyed saying they would happily recommend the firm to a friend.

A sales office and show home will both open for the first time on from 10am on Friday, April 6.
