RELATED STORY: Where you can meet Santa

Why not tie in your visit to see Father Christmas with watching the deer being fed? You can do this every Saturday and Sunday before Christmas from 5 December at around 11.45am. As well as 21, 22, 23 and 24 December at the same time. This is a unique opportunity to see the animals up close as the rangers feed them near the Hall. (There is no access to the deer park).

The Hall will be open for the public to have a look at the beautiful Christmas decorations on 3, 4, 10, 11, 16 and 17 December from 1pm to 3pm and 6 and 13 December from 12.30pm to 2.30pm.

After all of that you can take a well-earned break and indulge in Christmas Sunday lunches or festive afternoon tea.

Festive afternoon teas are being served in the Hall on 3, 4, 10, 11, 16 and 17 December from 1pm to 3.30pm. Enjoy traditional afternoon tea with a festive twist next to the roaring fire, drinking a warming glass of mulled wine – what more could you want? It only costs £18 per person. A children’s afternoon tea menu priced at £10 is also available.

Christmas Sunday lunches will be served in the Hall on 6 and 13 December from 12.30pm to 2.30pm. The three-course lunches cost £24 for an adult, £12 for children aged six to 11, £8.50 for children aged three to five and £4.50 for children under two. The intimate Morning Room is available for private dining for up to 25 people.

Booking is essential for both the festive afternoon tea and Christmas Sunday lunches. Take a look at the menus on the Normanby Hall website: www.normanbyhall.co.uk.
