A DONCASTER man was forced to climb out of a window after an arson attack at his ground floor flat.
The man in his 50s escaped serious injury after the blaze took hold at 9.10pm on Saturday.
He suffered slight smoke inhalation and was taken to Doncaster Royal Infirmary as a precaution.
It is believed that the fire began near to the door of the flat on Galsworthy Close in Balby.
Two fire crews spent about 90 minutes at the scene.
