The music of Swedish 70s superstars Abba has proved popular across the generations and now there is a show introducing the hits to an even younger audience.
The Honey Honey Show which comes to Building 21, Elsecar Heritage Centre, Barnsley, on Saturday 29th October is billed as The World’s First Abba Concert for Kids (of all ages).
It is the perfect way of introducing younger members of the family to their first ever live pop concert featuring the music of Abba.
Honey Honey was created by parents for families, the brainchild of Aileen, TJ, Jules and Robin who have performed for many years around the world with the top Abba tribute band Bjorn Again.
The Abba performers are joined on stage with a full live band and the mischievous Benny Bear, for singing, dancing and crazy fun, with all the songs from the hit movie Mamma Mia.
Peppered throughout the show are also funny movies on the video screen, of the band and Benny Bear getting up to all sorts.
After the show you might be lucky enough to meet Benny Bear in the foyer, so bring a camera just in case!
The show starts at 4pm. Tickets are available from 01226 327000 (Barnsley Civic), 01226 740203 (Building 21) or from the website: www.barnsleycivic.co.uk
