FITNESS fans are being urged to get down and keep fit to classical music.

The Dome will host the free event called Warm Up For the Olympics which will combine aerobic style dancing with classical music, specially written by US composer Stephen Montague.

Doncaster-born choreographer Anna Olejnicki will lead the event which is open to all ages and abilities. There is no experience needed.

Fitness enthusiasts will get the chance to perform their routine to live music from music group Ensemble 360.

Jon Whiteley, from Doncaster Culture and Leisure Trust, said: “The Olympic fever is starting to get under way now and we are all excited and geared up to the impact the games will have on the country.

“We are pleased to be able to offer this free dance event to people from across Doncaster and look forward to welcoming people to The Dome.”
