Doncaster pop sensation Louis Tomlinson has added to his trophy cabinet at tonight’s Brit Awards in London.
The Bessacarr-based star and his One Direction band-mates scooped the Global Success award at the ceremony at the 02 Arena.
But the boy band missed out in the Best British Band and Best British Single categories which they were also nominated for.
The band were also up for an honour in the Best Video category.
The cream of the world’s music scene gathered for the annual bash but One Direction lost out to Sheffield’s Arctic Monkeys in the best group category while Rudimental’s Waiting All Night clinched the best single prize.
The band were hoping One Way Or Another would emulate last year’s success when they picked up the award for Best British Single.
