A young Doncaster Rovers season ticket holder was given the perfect present as club stalwart James Coppinger racked up his 400th game for the club.
Alexei Burke-Lejeune, aged seven, was presented with the midfielder’s autographed boots following Saturday’s 3-1 defeat at the Keepmoat Stadium against Birmingham City.
The youngster was picked at random to collect his prize.
Alexei, who sits in the West Stand, was selected from thousands of supporters and met up with the midfielder after the game to collect his prize.
Coppinger is one of only four players in the club’s history to clock up 400 games for Rovers.
