Wombwell baby found dead

AN INQUEST has opened in to the death of a seven-months old baby.
Little Freddie Derek Exley was found dead in his cot at his Wombwell home on the morning of January 17.
The tot had Downs syndrome and a heart condition. He was born within the children’s heart unit at Leeds General Infirmary.
A post mortem examination has been carried out and an inquest was opened at Sheffield’s Medico-Legal Centre, then adjourned pending the results of toxicology and other tests.
