Woman injured in road accident

A FEMALE motorist has been injured in an early morning road accident.

The woman was involved in an incident on Selby Road, Askern at 8am this morning.

Two fire crews from Adwick and Doncaster attended the scene to free the woman who had become trapped inside her vehicle.

Officers spent half an hour at the scene with the woman being taken to Doncaster Royal Infirmary following the accident.

No further details are available at this stage.
