Wear yellow for charity

MARIE Curie Cancer Care is appealing for teachers and pupils in the Dearne to take part in Wear Something Yellow to School Day on Friday, March 2.

All you have to do is wear something yellow and make a donation of £2 to Marie Curie, which cares for terminally ill patients in their won homes.

Local fundraiser Liz Howlett said: “You can wear a yellow jumper, tie, feather bower, tights or even a wig. Be as creative as you like, as long as it’s yellow!”
