Views sought on spitting law issue

RESIDENTS in Mexborough, Conisbrough and Denaby are being asked their views on plans to introduce a spitting by-law in the borough and to prosecute people caught in the act.

Doncaster Council has launched a two month consultation in which people are being asked whether they want the authority to apply for the power through an application to the Secretary of State.

Views can be given either via the website at www.doncaster.gov.uk/spitting or through customer services on 01302 736000.
