Bishop of Doncaster, Peter Burrows.

The new Bishop of Doncaster, Peter Burrows, was welcomed to the diocese at a special service in Sheffield Cathedral.

The Venerable Peter Burrows was ordained in York Minster by the Archbishop of York, Dr John Sentamu last week.

Mr Burrows was previously the Archdeacon of Leeds.

He succeeded the Right Reverend Cyril Ashton, who has retired, as Bishop of Doncaster.
