Doncaster’s Town Fields became a sea of pink as women of all ages came together with one aim In mind - to raise cash to fight cancer.
Runners and walkers, some with dogs and some with buggies, donned wigs, tutus and all manner of dress to tackle the five kilometre course.
A rousing musical exercise session got everyone limbered up and the rain held off as the pink swarm approached the race start.
Among the throng were participants who were fighting cancer themselves, alongside many who have lost loved ones in the recent past. Others were there to celebrate friends and family beating cancer, and to raise money to help others conquer the disease.
The turnout for Doncaster, once again, was fantastic.
