Up to 2,000 fun runners were showered from head to toe in brightly-coloured paint as part of Bluebell Wood Children’s Hospice’s Colour Dash.
Walkers, joggers and runners - including Bluebell Wood patron Louis Tomlinson’s sisters - united for the vibrant charity event at Rother Valley Country Park.
Saturday morning’s event - the first of its kind in South Yorkshire - saw participants coated in pink, green, yellow, red and blue paint at each kilometre marker of a 5K course.
Helen Mower, head of fundraising at Bluebell Wood, said: “Thank you to everyone for creating a fantastic atmosphere and for making this such a colourful and fun event. We’re very grateful for all the support we’ve received, it’s been amazing.
“It was an inspiring event and truly wonderful to see so many people getting messy and having a good time while raising sponsorship for Bluebell Wood.”
