ROADS

A638 - Traffic congestion on York Road between the A635 Barnsley Road junction and St Mary’s Roundabout

BUSES

North Bridge Road (Doncaster) North Bridge Road will be closed inbound between Elwis Street and Trafford Way due to resurfacing work on Monday 11th May until Monday 18th May. Services to operate via New Bridge Road and Church Way. Outbound services are unaffected and should operate as normal.

Kirton Lane, Thorne (Doncaster) Kirton Lane, Thorne will be closed at the level crossing due to essential rail maintenance on Saturday 9 May (2230) until (1000) Sunday 10 May. Service 87 from Doncaster - The Saturday night 2210 and 2310 journeys will operate as normal to Crookes Broom Lane in Dunscroft then via Station Road, High Street (Hatfield), Epworth Road and Hatfield Road before resuming normal route in Thorne.Service 87 from Goole/Moorends - The Saturday night 2308 from Goole and the Sunday morning 0858 and 0958 journeys from Moorends to operate the reverse of the outbound diversion route described above.

Lower Dolcliffe Road, Mexbrough (Doncaster) Lower Dolcliffe Road will be closed between Simpson Place and Hartley Street for essential water works on Sunday 10th May and Monday 11th May.Services 13, 217, 218, 220, 221, 222 and X20 to operate direct along Greens Way (Dual-Carriageway) then round the roundabout onto West Street to Hartley Street. Services will not serve the flyover or Garden Street.

Clay Flat Lane, Rossington (Doncaster) Clay Flat Lane, Rossington will be closed between Beech Road and Stripe Road due to essential water works on Sunday 10th May (0800 – 1800) Service 55 to operate as normal to Stripe Road then via Bond Street in both directions. Service 205 to operate directly along Stripe Road in both directions.

Horse Fair Green, Thorne (Doncaster) Horse Fair Green, Thorne will be closed due to a 1940s Weekend activities on Saturday 9th May (0930 – 1900) and Sunday 10th May (0930 – 1800) Service 86 to operate as normal to Southfield Road then via Tithe Barn, Stonegate, Church Street and Silver Street before resuming as service 86A route on Bridge Street. Service 86A to operate as normal to King Street then via Silver Street, Bridge Street, Stonegate and Church Street before resuming as service 86 on King Street. Service 87 towards Goole to operate via South Parade, Silver Street and King Street before resuming normal route. Service X8 towards Moorends to operate via South Parade and Ellison Street before resuming normal route. Also please note that between 1045 and 1115 on Saturday 9 May, delays may be experienced due to rolling road closures for the parade through Thorne.

TRAINS

Disruption on First Transpennine Express between Manchester Airport and Leeds due to signalling problem between Stalybridge and Huddersfield. Tickets being accepted on Northern Rail, Virgin East Coast, Cross Country and Grand Central services.

MONDAY 04 MAY to THURSDAY 07 MAY

2247 Sheffield to Manchester Piccadily will not call Stockport. Bus Chinley to Manchester Piccadilly.

SATURDAY 09 MAY

2103 Cleethorpes to Barton-on-Humber service will be bus replaced throughout.

2158 Bartonon-Humber to Cleethorpes service will be bus replaced throughout.

ROADWORKS

A630 Wheatley Hall Road - One lane closed on A630 Wheatley Hall Road inbound in Doncaster between the Derby Road junction and the Crompton Road junction, because of gas main work.

Doncaster - St Andrew’s Terrace in Doncaster closed in both directions between the South Street junction and the North Street junction, because of resurfacing work.

Edlington - Stubbins Hill in New Edlington closed in both directions at the Granby Road junction, because of sewer works.

B1396 Westwoodside - Water main work and temporary traffic lights on B1396 Doncaster Road in Westwoodside between the Westmoreland Close junction and the Park Lane junction.
