Town centre car ‘rescue’

CROWDS gathered in Doncaster Market as firefighters carried out a simulated rescue from a car.

Officers brought two fire engines to the venue, to show how they are able to use state-of-the-art equipment to free people from crashed cars.

They removed the roof from a Volvo estate while a fire boss gave a running commentary.
