Teen’s fundraising mission gathers pace

Residents are rallying round to help a teenager with an incurable brain tumour achieve her mission of raising £500,000 for charity.

Hannah Brown, 17, has embarked on a fundraising campaign for a charity which helps fund research into a cure for the disease.

And the total on Hannah’s Just Giving page is just under £2,500 with more money coming in every day.

As well as online donations a whole host of fundraising activities have been taking place to help boost Hannah’s total.

Staff and pupils at Ash Hill Academy are among those who have helped with the fundraising efforts hosting a charity evening on March 19 - Hannah’s 17th birthday,

The sold-out event raised £1,200.
