Success in speech and drama festival

Waiting for Video...

Treading the boards and proving to be in fine voice were students from St Norbert’s Catholic Primary Voluntary Academy in Crowle.

The children recently took part in the annual week-long Scunthorpe Speech and Drama Festival, followed by several prize winning performances at the Invenio Academy Trophy Concert on the Saturday evening.

Key Stage 2 children won the first prize shield for the Choral Speaking section reciting two poems, ’Little Red Rap’ by Tony Mitten and ‘Slinky Malinki’ by Linley Dodd.

The photographs also show the Key Stage 2 trophy winners, children who won prizes and trophies together with our youngest competitors from the reception class.

Jacob Dunstan, a Year 5 pupil who had performed very well in several classes, won the Bursary Award
for the pupil with the
most potential.
