To celebrate St George’s Day 900 members of the Scout movement in Doncaster paraded through the town centre.
As part of the celebrations to honour the patron Saint of England and scouting a special service took place at St George’s Minster where scoutse reaffirmed their promise.
Group flags were carried with the flag of St George taking pride of place.
After taking the salute from the Mansion House steps the Civic Mayor Cllr Eddie Dodds and the Mayoress his daughter Nicola joined the parade and service. He then led the parade back along Frenchgate and the High Street reluctantly leaving it at the Mansion House.
