TEACHERS from a school in Uganda paid a special visit to Mexborough School as part of a unique exchange trip.

Headteacher Moses Mugisha and physics tutor Saul Muyiggwa flew over from Air Force Secondary School in Entebee for a week long stay in Mexborough.

They observed lessons, sat in a meeting of the student council and made visits to the town’s primary schools.

The visit was part of an exchange trip organised through the British Council and follows a trip made by Mexborough teachers to Uganda in September.
