Special items now on show

A COLLECTION of four items made to commemmorate the 1912 visit of King George V and Queen Mary to Barnsley, are on dispay at Darfield.

Items at the Maurice Dobson Museum include a soda siphon with an inscription about the visit, a stoppered bottle and a Codd bottle with dedications to the King, and a recently-added jam jar with dedication to Queen Mary.
