Licensees from across Doncaster picked up prestigious honours at the glittering Best Bar None Awards evening.
Conisbrough’s The Lord Conyers is celebrating after walking away with the big prize of Bar Bar None for 2014.
It beat off all the other main category winners to scoop the accolade.
The popular boozer was also named Best Community Bar in West Doncaster.
Social, in Lazarus Court, was crowned Friendliest Atmosphere in an award voted for by Doncaster Free Press readers.
Nearly 400 people attended the ceremony at The Dome.
Best Bar None was set up by police and council bosses to promote responsible venues in a bid to reduce alcohol related crime.
Mayor Ros Jones said: “Our licensees are amongst the best in the country, and this year, the standard was higher than ever.
“Well done to all those nominated, and particularly to all those who received awards.”
A charity raffle and casino on the night raised £2,325 for cancer charity Aurora which has bases at Doncaster Royal Infirmary and Mexborough Montagu hospitals.
