The Isle’s star actress Sheridan Smith had a beastly encounter in Epworth this morning.
Multi-award winning Sheridan was forced to abandon her car, due to a cow on the loose in her parents’ road.
Her brother, Torn rocker Damian Dalton-Smith said his sister ran in to the house shouting about the cow, as traffic piled up outside.
He posted on facebook that the beast: ‘trampled bushes in a garden and shot down another neighbours garden and vanished. Mum called local police and we all followed hoof prints in the back of gardens till they just vanished!’
Nichola-Jayne Rhoades posted: ‘Is this in Epworth?? If so it’s probably the same cow that was running loose near Beltoft this morning.. my dad tried to round it up and failed! Haha poor thing!’
Sheridan, aged 33, is believed to be on a flying visit home. She is due to feature on the BBC’s Who Do You Think You Are on September 4, when she will go on a hunt to discover the beginnings of her family’s musical heritage.
