School pupils were taught about the importance of aid volunteer organisations during a visit from the British Red Cross.

Paula Steinhoff, an aid worker for the organisation, stopped off at Ivanhoe Primary School in Conisbrough to speak to pupils about some of the projects the charity is helping across the world.

She is pictured above pointing to slides as the class listens to her presentation.
