Council officers will be visiting tanning salons across the Dearne as part of a scheme to protect people against skin cancer.

Regulatory services staff from Barnsley Council are dropping in to shops in the next few weeks to give sun bed operators help and advice about product safety standards, ensuring that sun beds have a maximum ultraviolet emission of 0.3W/m2.
