Firefighters were called to a rubbish fire last night.

Arsonists torched a pile of rubbish in Lands End Road, Thorne around 8.40pm.

Firefighters from Thorne attended the scene and managed to stop the fire from spreading.

The cause of the fire has been logged as deliberate.
