Road in Doncaster closed by flooding

FIRE crews were called into action after reports of flooding in Sykehouse.

Officers from Thorne station attended at Beaver’s Bridge in the village at around 11.30am on Sunday to pump water away from the scene.

Doncaster Council workers also laid sandbags and the road was closed for several hours while the water was cleared.
