MEXBOROUGH teenager Alexander Ward swore his oath of allegiance to join the British Army - and fellow army recruit and twin brother Chris was first to congratulate him.
Alexander, 18, was one of 11 new recruits who made the pledge at the Mansion House in Doncaster in the presence of civic mayor of Doncaster, Coun Christine Mills.
Brother Chris, who joined the Army earlier this year, proudly welcomed him into the Armed Forces.
Both will serve in the Royal Electrical and Mechanical Engineers (REME).
