Police hunt for town centre attacker
CCTV image of a man police would like to trace in connection with an alleged assault in Doncaster town centre on Sunday, December 30.
POLICE have released CCTV and e-fit images in a bid to trace a man wanted in connection with an assault.
An 18-year-old was left with a two-inch cut above his right eye, facial swelling and pain to the ribs following the incident at approximately 2.40am on Sunday, December 30.
The 18-year-old man was walking through Kingsway Passage, opposite Lazarus Court, in the direction of Wood Street, with a friend when they were approached by an unknown man.
It is believed that the unknown man tripped the 18-year-old man and began to kick him repeatedly.
The suspect is described as a white male in his early 20s, approx. 5’7” tall of stocky build and wearing a yellow top.

Anyone with information about the alleged attack, or who may know the identity of the man in the images is urged to contact South Yorkshire Police on 101, quoting incident number 163 of 30, December 2013.
