Police believe man wanted for robbery in Doncaster area

Wanted man Dean Carden is believed to be in Doncaster.

A MAN wanted in connection with a robbery, in which a woman was threatened with a hammer and robbed of expensive jewellery, is believed to be in Doncaster.

Dean Carden, 33, has links to the Doncaster area and West Yorkshire Police are calling on the public to help to trace him.

A 40-year-old man has already been sentenced to eight years in prison in January this year for his part in the incident and a 29-year-old man has been charged and is awaiting trial.

Carden, also known as Dean Gilmour, is also believed to have played a part in the robbery in Foxhill Drive, Weetwood, Leeds on October 7, 2011.

Despite extensive enquiries, officers have been unable to trace Carden. He has links to Wetherby, Leeds and Doncaster.

Anyone who knows his whereabouts or has any information that could assist in tracing him is asked to contact Detective Constable 2999 Jonathan Carter at North West Leeds Proactive Crime Team, West Yorkshire Police, via 101 or contact Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111.
