In the shocking clip, a dark haired woman in a strappy top can be seen punching, kicking and slapping a smaller woman in an orange tracksuit as well as dragging her by the hair and appearing to slam her face into the road surface.

In the 90 second-clip, a voice can be heard screaming: "I'll f****** kil you!" as the brutal fight unfolds in front of shocked witnesses on a residential road.

The video, which we have seen but are choosing not to publish, also shows two other women arguing and fighting in the background, with one attempting to intervene as the fight between the two younger women spirals out of control.

The clip is thought to have been filmed at the junction of South Road and Vermuyden Road in Moorends on Sunday afternoon and has already been viewed hundreds of times on various Doncaster Facebook groups including a site called Doncaster Talk.

The footage, thought to have been shot on a mobile phone, shows a woman dressed in a black top and shorts crouched over the other woman and shows her pinning her to the ground while she rains down a volley of blows on her. A voice can be heard saying: "How do you like me now?" as the brawl continues.

The video was sent to us by a Facebook user with the message: "On our streets today."

In one scene, she violently slams the woman's head towards the road surface while she is later seen kicking the woman in the face.

At the end of the clip, the tracksuited woman and another female climb into a car parked at the side of the road while the dark-haired woman marches triumphantly towards the camera.

Now police are appealing for help in tracing the two women in the video - which we supplied to the force for comment - and officers have warned that charges could be brought.

Inspector Mark Payling of South Yorkshire Police said: “We are aware of this incident and now have the video footage, which will help us to investigate the matter further.
