it was cake and party games all round as children and staff from a Doncaster nursery celebrated its milestone 15th anniversary.

Proud owner of Kinderkare Nursery at Intake, Emma Thompson, treated the children to a good old fashioned party featuring pass the parcel, pin the tail on the donkey and balloon modelling.

Emma said: “We had a fantastic day, the children loved the party and it was lovely to be celebrating such a special occasion especially in the current climate with a lot of businesses having to close.

“The children really enjoyed the party games and helped make a special banner for the occasion.

“We want to also say a big thank you to Rainbow Cakes in Rossington who made the celebration cake.”

The nursery in Sandringham Road provides care for 15 children aged under two, and 30 children aged two to five.

Emma added: “Me and my partner bought the nursery seven years ago but up until that point I had been the manager so I’ve been here from the very start so it was extra special to be celebrating our 15th anniversary”
