The future of a headteacher found not guilty of sex offences against children is still hanging in the balance.

John McEnaney, aged 60, head of Woodlands Primary School, was cleared at Doncaster Magistrates’ Court last week of two charges against a pair of 11-year-old girls.

He had been accused of rubbing himself against one and squeezing the bottom of the other.
