A school building that was built as a temporary fixture 50 years ago, has finally been replaced.

Three classrooms were officially opened within a new extension at Wroot Travis Charity C of E Primary School, by MP Andrew Percy with Couns William Eckhardt (l) and Ron Allcock.

The new building was funded by North Lincolnshire Council and the work carried out by the Gelder Group. Headteacher Christine Cook said: “The extension has made a big difference, and people no longer have to walk across the playground constantly.” Photo: Andrew Roe
