A CARING son has decided to take on one of his toughest ever challenges - to climb Mount Everest in memory of his father.

Graham Beardsley was devastated when 86-year-old dad Bill suffered heart failure just moments after watching the Olympic Torch pass through Balby earlier this year.

Following his sudden death, Graham, who says he owes everything to his dad especially his love of photography, decided to select the toughest challenge he could find so that he could raise at least £4,000 for the British Heart Foundation - with the epic 17,500ft Mount Everest his chosen test in March.

Graham, 49, of Edlington, said he would be taking his camera with him during his trip to honour his dad’s memory. Visit www.JustGiving.com/Graham-Beardsley
