Motorcyclist left fighting for her life after colliding with lamppost in Swinton

A 33-year-old motorcyclist has been left with life-threatening injuries after crashing into a lamppost in Swinton this morning.

The collision occurred at about 11.40am this morning, when it is reported that a black Honda motorbike was travelling along Piccadilly Road, Swinton when it has collided with a lamppost close to the junction with Valley Road.

The bike was travelling towards Wentworth Road and the rider of the bike, a 33-year-old woman, has been taken to hospital with life-threatening injuries.
