Most wanted criminals arrested in Bessacarr
Police tape
two of the most wanted men in Doncaster have been arrested.
Residents in Bessacarr and Rossington assist with arresting the pair whilst police officers were conducting patrols in Bessacarr.
Both men were suspected of committing burglaries around the district and fled upon seeing the police officers.
As officers gave chase, colleagues assisted by containing the area, as the two men proceeded to run and hide.
Residents assisted officers on September 7, by pointing out where the suspects had been seen and the direction in which they were headed.
A 20-year-old man was arrested and is now on bail for four burglary offences and is required to re-appear at Doncaster Police Station.
A 23-year-old man was also arrested and has been remanded in custody for failing to appear at Doncaster Crown Court. He is also on bail for four burglary offences.
Similarly on Tuesday, September 25, officers were on patrol in Rossington, when they came across a 24-year-old man who was wanted for five theft offences.
The man who fled the scene was eventually found hiding and was arrested and charged. He has been remanded in custody and is due to appear at Doncaster Crown Court.
