Staff and patients at Mexborough’s Montagu Hospital hit the gym in an attempt to pedal the 200km distance of the Tour de France’s York to Sheffield leg.

The team, which includes patients recovering from things like hip surgery, have clocked up around 73km. Pictured I-r are patient Harold Hartley, occupational therapist Joanne Jutrzenka, patient Mark Priestley and physiotherapist Stephen Hampson.
