Men arrested after serious attack

two Doncaster men have been arrested in connection with a serious assault.

A 44-year-old man remains in hospital after sustaining injuries to his head, back and leg during the incident in Murton Lane, York on Saturday.

A 30-year-old man was arrested in connection with the incident in the Doncaster area.

Officers also arrested a 28-year-old man.

Both men, who are from the Doncaster area, remain in police custody as enquiries continue.
