COULD you add your voice to a panel that will influence the future of policing in South Yorkshire?

People are sought who have a genuine interest in policing and a background in either community safety, criminal justice, health or victim support.

They will form the independent members of a South Yorkshire Police and Crime Panel, following the election of a police and crime commissioner in November this year,

The main role of the panel will be to scrutinise the commissioner, and to promote openness in the delivery of police services.

Voluntary co-optees will serve for a minimum of four years, to be reviewed annually.

The closing date for applications is September 14. For an application pack tel. 01709 254417, or email michael.holmes@rotherham.gov.uk.
