Meeting over road surface

NEWS: News.

NEWS: News.

THE FIGHT for a proper surface for Epworth’s Turbary Road is set to be ramped up with a letter to North Lincolnshire Council.

Epworth Town Council is demanding a meeting with North Lincolnshire officials over residents’ concerns over the state of what they say has been a potholed track for years.

Epworth councillors are to press for the meeting after an exchange of letters.

Town councillors have claimed the North Lincolnshire authority has been unco-operative, and called on head of places at the council, Peter Williams, to attend one of their meetings.

Mr Williams denied the allegation that he’s been unco-operative and said he had tried to be open and honest.

A delegation from Epworth will go to the council offices in Scunthorpe for a meeting.
