HE’S dangerously talented - and is thrilling his family and friends with his stage successes!

Teenager Mark Adey’s impressions of Michael Jackson have led to greater things - and may even land him a career.

The 13-year-old of Epsom Close, Mexborough, is a self-taught Jackson-style dancer. Last month he entered a dance competition and has now moon-walked his way to the national finals, in a matter of weeks.

Mark’s mum Julie Adey, 41, said: “We’re astonished by this. Mark only began dancing about 18 months ago, in our lounge at home.

“We’re all Michael Jackson fans and after he died Mark started studying his dance moves.

“He’s really good but we’re a bit shell-shocked that he’s got so far, so quickly.”

Mark won the regional final of the UK 4 Stars competition on June 10 at Scarborough, that takes him to the grand finals at the Pontins HQ, Prestatyn, in October.

He’s now in with a chance of a £75,000 prize and the opportunity to star in shows at Dubai and America.

“This is without one single dance lesson,” said Julie, who was once a dancer and met hubby Grant at Latin-American classes.

Mexborough School pupil Mark also plays the trombone with the junior Dearne big Band, and mixes his own music. He aims to audition for Britain’s Got Talent next year.
