Man injured in Doncaster robbery

A 26-year-old man has been injured in a robbery in Doncaster town centre.

Police have now issued CCTV images, in a bid to trace the men and women pictured, as it is believed they may hold vital information about the incident.

The man was walking down Netherhall Road with a friend at around 4am on June 22.

It is believed that a group of men assaulted the 26-year-old, pushing him to the floor.

It is alleged that one of the men stamped on the victim’s head, before the group stole his mobile phone and wallet.

The 26-year-old sustained minor head injuries during the incident.

Despite extensive enquiries, no arrests have been made.

Officers would like to speak to the men and women pictured, as they may have witnessed the incident and hold vital information.
