Man caught on Doncaster school roof

the South Yorkshire Police helicopter was called to help officers search for a man spotted on the roof of a Doncaster school.

A 26-year-old Doncaster man was arrested by officers on the ground after coming down from the roof of Edlington Hill Top Primary School before pupils returned for the new term yesterday.

A police spokesman said it was believed that there had been no damage caused to the school premises.

The man has been charged with an offence of being found on enclosed premises and has been remanded to appaer before the town’s magistrates.
