Isle residents are invited to reminisce about old days out and attend an exhibition exploring the history of a regional bus company.
The ‘We’ll Take You There…’ exhibition at North Lincolnshire Museum celebrates 100 years of Hornsby buses.
Set up by brothers Arthur and Joseph Hornsby in Ashby in 1914, the firm has transported thousands upon thousands of people to coastal days out across the region.
Managing director Nick Hornsby said: “My great grandfather set out on an adventure in 1914 when they bought their first solid tyre bus in 1914. It was an adventure that through fate and good fortune has continued for 100 years.”
The exhibition is on at the museum until June 15.
