After gale force winds battered the region last night, a brighter day is forecast for Doncaster today.
The Met office predicts it will be a windy day - but not as strong as yesterday - with plenty of sunny spells and the possibilty of some showers.
A spokesman said: “Winds ease later in the night giving a chance of frost. minimum temperature 1°C.
“It will be a cold, bright and dry start to Friday. Becoming cloudier with more wind, heavy rain and hill snow expected to spread northwards through the afternoon, continuing overnight.”
The maximum temperature for today and tomorrow will be 6°C.
